What the world needs is another podcast!
Truly, that’s what you and all of your friends have been saying all these years. So here I am, ready to serve the pent-up podcast demand with, “The Media Show,” a plain old conversation between me and some people I know about news media and the things that happen with it. I plan to do it every couple of weeks for a few months to see if I can grow it into something.
In our first episode I talk with Ned Berke, the founder and publisher of SheepsheadBites.com, a terrific hyperlocal in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, New York. We talk about Patch, Buzzfeed, neighborhood papers and the launch of Ozy.com, a news site targeted at Millennials. It’s just under 45 minutes.
Let me know what you think in the comments.
